Animal control officer to talk to deer committee Tuesday

Ty Metzger, the animal control officer with the Cape Girardeau Police Department, will be speaking to the new urban deer committee Tuesday night. The committee, which is formulating a recommendation on whether to allow bow hunting in the city limits, will hear Metzer discuss how he deals with the deer surplus.
