Fresh off her huge November re-election victory, U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson may be mulling a run for the Senate.
According to several bloggers and political insiders, the Republican may throw her hat into the ring with the other contenders to challenge Sen. Claire McCaskill, a Democrat.
Jeff Connor, her chief of staff, would not comment Wednesday and said any interview requests on the subject of an Emerson Senate candidacy would be declined.
